1. Can I earn cash prizes if someone I referred wins a cash prize?

Answer:
 YES, When someone you referred wins first place in the Primetime Hot Streak Shootout,
you win an equal cash prize. Refer a Friend

2. How do I earn TRIVIAPOINTS?

Answer:
 You earn TRIVIAPOINTS for every correct answer to a single question in every game!
For example: If you answer only 3 questions correctly in Fast 5 (or any game)
your account will be awarded 3 TRIVIAPOINTS.
In Addition, when you Refer a Friend you also earn points for every correct answer they make.

3. How do I earn more TRIVIAPOINTS?

Answer:
 By referring new players to TryTrivia Refer a Friend and having them play.
Points for every correct answer: You get matching TRIVIAPOINTS from players
and friends you refer for every question they answer correctly
for as long as they play TryTrivia.
Bonus for referring players: in the first 14 days of play by any player
referred by you, all his correct answers earn regular points for his account,
and adds triple points for his play to your account.
Your triple point bonus applies only during your referred players initial 14 days of play.

4. How often can I play the Daily Hot Streak or the Primetime Hot Streak Shootout.

Answer:
 In the Daily Hot Streak players can play 10 times a day in each of the 4 different games.
The Primetime Hot Streak Shootout is played only one time each day.

Cash prizes are also awarded to runners up in both games.

5. How do I win a hot streak game?

Answer:
 In all hot streak games the player tries to keep answering questions correctly.
Your score is recorded when you miss a question in the game. The player who answers
the most consecutive questions correctly wins for the day.

In the Daily Hot Streak every player answers a different list of questions.
Every player can play in the Daily Hot Streak in each category 10 times a day.
  • In the event of a tie, the player who answers the most consecutive questions in the least amount
    of time wins the designated prize.
  • Cash prizes are also awarded to runners up.
In the Primetime Hot Streak Shootout you can qualify to play once each day to win a $50.00 first place cash prize
The Primetime Hot Streak Shootout is played every night between 8:00 PM and 11:45 PM (ET)
Each night every player who qualifies is eligible to play in the Primetime Hot Streak Shootout
To qualify each day, before the Primetime Hot Streak Shootout starts
a player needs to complete one of the following:
  • Complete at least 5 Fast Five games (6 correct questions in each game).
  • Answer correctly at least 7 consecutive questions in an Instant Hot Streak Shootout (every 30 minutes 11:00AM-7:00PM).
  • Answer correctly at least 7 consecutive questions in any Daily Hot Streak.

6. I feel I answered a question correctly, but the game said I was wrong.
What should I do?

Answer:
 When the screen appears with the question and the correct answer,
copy down the question number. Go to the contact screen where you
can send us the question number and what you feel is the correct answer.
We will research the question and try to get back to you.

7. I won more than one game on a single day, why did I win only one prize?

Answer:
 There is a prize limit each day. A player will only collect the highest single prize
won on that particular day.
Example: A player comes in second in an Instant Hot Streak Shootout at 1:00 PM
and wins $2.00. The same player, on the same day, wins $5.00 in a Fast 5 game
In this case $5.00 is credited to the player's account. All of the 1:00 PM
Instant Hot Streak Shootout players will move up one place in the leader board.
This might result in a higher prize to the player moving up.

8. When and how do I get paid after winning?

Answer:
 All prizes will be credited to your account after results are final
(usually the day after the game is played).

Players can request their prize winnings at any time. Winners are
to be paid by PAYPAL.
Players requesting funds using PAYPAL
(see FAQ #14) will receive the full amount of their winnings in 30-45 days.
To request payment, click on the My Account link.
Make sure you have updated your name and address information.
Payments are processed once every 2 months, You may only request 1 payment every 60 days.

9. Do I win anything for answering 4 or 5 questions correctly?

Answer:
 No. In all Fast 5 games and shootout games a player must answer correctly
at least six consecutive questions to be eligible for a prize.
In a hot streak game, any number of consecutive correct answers can win.

10. What are skill levels?

Answer:
 As the game progresses, players will be assigned to skill levels based on their winning
record. This insures that new and advanced players all compete fairly.

 Your credit balance is the difference between the prize money you have won and the
amount that has been paid to you. You can check your credit balance by visiting the

15. What do I need to do if I choose to be paid by PAYPAL?

Answer:
 You must have an active account with PAYPAL to receive payment.
From My Account, request your payment through PAYPAL.
PAYPAL will notify you by email when your payment has been added to your PAYPAL account.

Answer:
 When you are on the game central page, at the bottom is a link to the winners page
Click on that link and you can see yesterdays results or you can view any other
date by entering the date in the field at the top of the page.

Answer:
